I know that some people may be thinking: There are many organizations (both religious & secular) doing great things in the world today: feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, even helping people find employment... Does the world really need another ministry?    - Absolutely!!!

It’s a wonderful thing to give a hungry man a fish. It’s better still to teach him how to catch his own. - But to Restore a man’s Vision for his life, to help him Rekindle his Dreams is the Greatest Service that Anyone can render in this down trodden world.

We are all born with a dream, a vision for our lives, and a song in our hearts. But the world can be hard and corse and over time many people’s dreams are ground away: the vision fades, and their songs fall silent.

1. -It is our Purpose at Common Ground Ministry to Revive those Dreams - Restore the Vision & Reawaken the Song in people’s hearts -
   

We believe that this is the best way to improve quality of life, to revitalize communities and even rejuvenate the nation’s economy. Because if you are following your dreams you are happier, more productive and more prosperous and thus are better able to contribute to your community.

But more importantly we believe that God inspires us through our dreams and the desires of our hearts; as part of His plan for us and to communicate His Will for our lives, so that we may more readily embrace our natural purpose, the purpose for which He has so perfectly equipped each of us, with so many gifts and talents.

When we employ the natural gifts that God has given us in a way that is in line with His will for our lives such employment becomes more than a simple occupation, it becomes an act of Worship and a Song of Praise!

How many Motzart(s) have died with their music still inside of them for lack of a little encouragement?

How many Thomas Eddison(s) failed to make their contributions to humanity because somewhere along the way they were convinced that they would never amount to anything?

& How many Niel Armstrong(s) have gone through life thinking that their dreams didn’t matter?

    The Answer is: TOO MANY!

If we can restore the vision of just a few people and if they in turn encourage the dreams of a few more then perhaps, in time, we can all begin to return to the kind of thinking that made this country great to begin with.
